Thinking about automobile donation?

There are various things we like to donate but automobile donation is not something that comes to mind very easily. Yet, this is something that many people need to do to help other less fortunate people. Yes, there are lots of people out there who need cars and no, it is not because they are too uppity to take the bus or the subway.

There are many people who are trying to start a small business or run a goods transporting service but don’t have the means. Buying a used car is well out of their budget let alone even thinking about a new car. Some charities try to help them out by getting vehicle donations and passing them onto these people. The charities take it one step further though, they take these charity cars and refurbish them before they are sold to these deserving families. The selling process is really a token one rather than one where any money is made. In fact, the charity spends a fair amount of money in refurbishing these cars before selling them again. The selling price is always a very minute amount and is never set at the cost that went into refurbishment or at current market prices.

If you are interested in donating an old car of yours, look online for a registered charity near you. Always do a background check on any charity you are thinking of donating to before you do the donating. This will help you avoid any unpleasantness later on.

Donate a used car

If you are wondering “why would anyone donate a used car?” well, it is because there are people who can do something with a car that you have absolutely no use for. Perhaps your car has been in a bad accident or its just become obsolete and lying there in the garage, whatever the reason it is a car you no longer need.

So you have two options, sell it or send it to the junkyard. Selling it is going to be a tedious process and sending it to the junkyard just might be a waste. There is a third option which you could look at and that is donation. There are plenty of charities you could donate vehicles to and it is easy to find them. All you have to do is get on the internet and search. For example, “car donation san Francisco”, “car donation New York” or “car donation Little Rock” will all return results of charities near you.

When you are looking at the charities, always ensure that you pick one that is legitimate. Sadly there are lots of fake charities out there that scam people and take away their well-intentioned gifts. You need to be very careful of these scammers especially if you are donating your car. The car could be used in a crime and that will leave you with some very nasty problems. So the bottom line is, verify the legality of the charity and also take an interest in how the car will be disposed of, before you give the car away.

Osho and Yoga

The creator of Osho Dynamic Meditation discusses the power of yoga in this practical and enlightening guide.

Although an ancient Indian mind and body practice, yoga is very prevalent today. In fact, the western world has embraced this old eastern tradition as an alternative medicine practice beneficial for both physical and emotional issues including stress and anxiety. However as modern teacher and enlightened mystic Rajneesh Osho confirms, yoga is more than a temporary solution for stress or an exercise routine, it is part of a way of living.

Perhaps more commonly known for developing an unconventional meditation technique, the Osho Dynamic Meditation, Osho also respected other types of meditation practices and techniques, including yoga.

So what does Osho have to say about yoga? According to Osho, yoga can transform one’s life. Bridging the gap between an ancient technique and our lives today, Osho explains the deeper meaning behind the principles of yoga in his invaluable guide “Yoga: The Science of Living.” Praised by yoga teachers and Osho Sannyasins alike, the book delves into the concept that yoga is “a scientific mythology” that enhances awareness and allows the freedom to live in an ongoing state of joy, peace and fulfillment.

Among the many other concepts covered in the book, Osho also explains that yoga teaches one how to transcend the body, the mind and how to fall into one’s being. Rather than a practice to gain control or learn discipline, yoga is described by Osho as a way to find inner balance and peace.

Along with “Yoga: The Science of Living,” Osho has other popular books about yoga including “Secrets of Yoga,” “The Essence of Yoga”, “Yoga: The Path to Liberation” and “Alchemy of Yoga.” You can find these and other titles, tantra books and meditations online through the Osho Viha Distribution Center. Osho dynamic meditation

The osho dynamic meditation was developed by a man named Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain.  He was born in India in 1931 and became enlightened when he was 21.Towards the late sixties he developed the Dynamic Meditation method as an alternative to the traditional seated method of meditation. He explained that this was more conducive to the common man who had to keep up with the busy world around him.

It was in the seventies that people started calling Rajneeshby the title of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. By this time he had found followers all over the world. These followers slowly made their way to India where they became his disciples. For several years he taught them his way and means and the discourses he held every morning have now been compiled into books. These books and other tantra books are widely available online for purchase. Some of the discourses which were recorded are available as osho mp3 files as well.

He visited the U.S. for relief from a physical ailment and ended up staying there for a few years. During this time he established a commune called Rajneeshpuram in the Oregon desert. However, due to the unscrupulous activities of some within the commune, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh was placed under arrest and thereafter deported. After visiting several countries to spread his message, he returned to his native country where took on a simpler name, that of Osho, and renamed his ashram Osho Commune International. He departed this world in January 1990.

Osho meditations

The osho meditations are a way of life developed by a man named Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. His life was full of controversy towards the end, but the methods of meditation he developed and preached have endured well beyond his passing.

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh was born in 1931 as Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain. He did not take on the Bhagwan name until late sixties when he was a world renowned figure. In the period between his enlightening (1952) and late sixties, he spent a lot of time learning philosophy and debating with religious leaders in a quest for knowledge. It was in this period that he developed the method of dynamic meditation. He claimed that this method was far suited for the busy lifestyle that people had gotten into as opposed to the sit down meditation that was traditionally preached. He gained many followers from around the world, many of whom made their way to India to be his disciples in his ashram.

These disciples are now known as osho sannyas as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh changed his name to Osho in the mid-eighties.The event that changed his fortunes was a visit to the United States for treatment for a physical problem. He was encouraged to establish a commune, which later ran into problems due to the actions of a few. This forced rajneesh osho to return to his native country and continue his work there. He succumbed to failing health in 1990 and left this world forever on the 19th of January.
