Two active charities to eradicate worldwide hunger

It is estimated that more than 11 percent of the world population go hungry. That is roughly 805 million people that go to sleep hungry every night. Poor nutrition is another problem associated with the hunger. At least one million children die each year due to hunger related malnutrition. There are estimated 17 million malnourished children today in the world and face a similar fate.

The Action Against Hunger International is one of the worldwide charitable organizations that is fighting to end hunger. Its mission is to save lives through prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition worldwide. It excels after disasters and during emergencies. It also tackles food security, water and sanitation issues, and provides advice. The charity uses more than $0.90 of each dollar for its field programs.

Founded in 1972, the Bread for the World (BFW) is aiming to end hunger in the United States and everywhere in the world. It identifies itself as a Christian voice to get the leaders to end hunger at home and abroad. Each year it invites churches at home to write a letter to the Congress urging them to address issues related to hunger.

Understanding “Osho sannyas”

Perhaps one of the most remarkable statements that anyone would have heard from a spiritual teacher (in this case, Osho) was that he never lost any sleep despite the way the world misunderstood him. Yes, this is literally one of his lesser known quotes that are a little different from the Tantra books that have found acceptance from people all over the world after he left us not so long ago.

Right off the bat, when one makes an attempt to understand Osho and his teachings, one thing is certain – he didn’t intend to invent another religion but sought to use the wisdom of both the East and the West for the benefit of humans from every part of the world.

And profit they have – whether it is the most popular Osho dynamic meditation method or even the various discourses that he wrote now and again.

And since his apparent distaste for religious authorities, political leaders and so on and so forth was rather obvious to all, Osho wasn’t necessarily the most loved but what most of his teachings today form the basis for the spiritual teachings now known as “New Age Religion”.

And there is no doubt that almost every person who has taken up the proverbial osho sannyas (as opposed to the conventional Hindu sannyas) has benefited immensely from his teachings, and will remain forever touched for the rest of their lives.

It’s only when you read what Osho stood for, it is only then that you will truly understand Osho.

Why Osho books are popular today

Let’s face it: the teacher known as Osho hasn’t been without controversy. All religious leaders from time to time experience this, and it hasn’t been very different with Osho as well. But if this is the measure by which one uses to judge this man, perhaps one should consider the fact that there is more than meets the eye.

Take for example, the surging popularity of osho books long after he has gone from this world. And one can find these books at bookstores, over the internet and pretty much anywhere you can find spiritual literature.

And that’s not all, if one finds themselves aurally inclined as opposed to reading, one can find his books and discourses in the form of an osho mp3 that you can enjoy in silence just as much as a book.

However, this is only just the beginning, and once someone takes an interest in the teachings of Osho, their lives change, and the desire to understand the man and what he stood for take the highest priority.

And perhaps one of the most popular teachings of Osho was to emphasize on the importance of meditation that is now known as the osho dynamic meditation to his followers from all parts of the world today.

Perhaps Osho might not be hailed as a religious leader in the truest sense of the word but what is for sure is that even though he never belonged to any religion, he still showed genuine respect and affirmation of the world’s religions through his teachings.

Osho Dynamic Meditation – 2 Ways That Osho’s Teachings are Living On

Summary: Just because Osho is no longer with us does not mean you cannot still learn from his teachings and beliefs. With Osho meditations, Osho sannyas, and tantra books, the spirit of Osho can live on.

Osho, one of the world’s most famous Indian mystics, created ideas and teachings that have influenced millions of people. Even though Osho died in 1990, there are still plenty of opportunities to learn more about him and what he believed.

To learn more about Osho, you need to start with Osho dynamic meditation – or the belief that mediation is a way of life, not just a way to relax. Unlike other forms of meditation, Osho dynamic meditation does not require you to sit still and silent and ponder. Instead, Osho dynamic meditation uses active movements to help relieve your stress and tension. To Osho, meditation needs to be active because you simply have too much tension to sit still. Osho dynamic meditation has been used by doctors, psychotherapists, and teachers all over the world.

To Osho, life was about searching for happiness and peace – regardless of your religious beliefs. Osho thought that the search for harmony, love, and wholeness was a fundamental part of every religion. In fact, to Osho, meditation was something that should be done by everybody, no matter their race, gender, or religious beliefs.

So, how can you learn more about Osho, his meditation, and his beliefs? There are two main ways to do it:

– Osho sannyas

Written by his disciples, Osho sannyas are books that are a great starting point for anyone who wants to learn more about Osho and his teachings. For Osho’s disciples, simply learning more about him is the first step towards true enlightenment. That’s why they believe that you should hear more about him, before your hear anything from him.

Osho sannyas contain detailed descriptions of Osho’s life, his beliefs, and his teachings – all from a third-person perspective. They are available in a wide variety of languages – including English, Russian, Hindi, Spanish, and Arabic.

– Tantra books

Written by Osho himself, Tantra books explain his beliefs on a variety of subjects – like love, parenting, children, and emotions. These Tantra books go into extreme detail on how you can achieve self-acceptance and harmony. Some of his tanta books are even available in mp3 form, so that you can hear directly from Osho himself.

Osho and Yoga

The creator of Osho Dynamic Meditation discusses the power of yoga in this practical and enlightening guide.

Although an ancient Indian mind and body practice, yoga is very prevalent today. In fact, the western world has embraced this old eastern tradition as an alternative medicine practice beneficial for both physical and emotional issues including stress and anxiety. However as modern teacher and enlightened mystic Rajneesh Osho confirms, yoga is more than a temporary solution for stress or an exercise routine, it is part of a way of living.

Perhaps more commonly known for developing an unconventional meditation technique, the Osho Dynamic Meditation, Osho also respected other types of meditation practices and techniques, including yoga.

So what does Osho have to say about yoga? According to Osho, yoga can transform one’s life. Bridging the gap between an ancient technique and our lives today, Osho explains the deeper meaning behind the principles of yoga in his invaluable guide “Yoga: The Science of Living.” Praised by yoga teachers and Osho Sannyasins alike, the book delves into the concept that yoga is “a scientific mythology” that enhances awareness and allows the freedom to live in an ongoing state of joy, peace and fulfillment.

Among the many other concepts covered in the book, Osho also explains that yoga teaches one how to transcend the body, the mind and how to fall into one’s being. Rather than a practice to gain control or learn discipline, yoga is described by Osho as a way to find inner balance and peace.

Along with “Yoga: The Science of Living,” Osho has other popular books about yoga including “Secrets of Yoga,” “The Essence of Yoga”, “Yoga: The Path to Liberation” and “Alchemy of Yoga.” You can find these and other titles, tantra books and meditations online through the Osho Viha Distribution Center.
